Does this mean you are actually like going to start fixing PST or is this just lip service?

PST needs some love to finish the EE edition we paid for.

Maybe if you actually put together a mod tool kit like NWN has, maybe PST would still be a better title?

A plan regarding any future patches is still TBD. This is an announcement regarding customer support, not patching processes.

so i was reading on an abandware website this game was considered no longer abandoned. does someone officially own the copyright and license required to distribute this game on Gog and Steam? what about the older versions this game. are they available anywhere for purchase. i only just recently heard about this dungeons and dragons style game.

Beamdog owns the rights to it now. They also did the EE edition and a patch or 2 but then they turned their attention to Baldurs Gate and Never Winter Nights and this game hasnt been touched since. That was several years ago. Now all we get in the news section is sales from Steam and announcements about their other titles.

Which is a shame but pretty on par for beamdog, since they're pretty obviously just about snapping up money and not caring for beloved titles.

Better off finding the original and using fan updates. I can't even get this version to launch anymore.
