Multiple endings?
So I'm trying to avoid googling too much but I've inadvertently discovered that there's multiple endings based on cubes placed?

I just beat the game. And put in the rainbow cube. It's my 7th cube I think?

But how on earth does one go through the game without....doing all the cubes? Despite the expansive world, I always felt like we were moving from point a to point b?

Is it a secret on how to bypass the cubes?

Or did I just happen to play through everything by sheer accident. (Like how no one died in my Until Dawn run, and I didnt realize ppl could die)

You finished the standard route, that's the way you're meant to have a first playthrough. There is an alternate secret route that starts in the blue god cube area. Without spoiling exactly what you need to do, you have to start a new save and go up until you unlock the blue dark cube, but don't plant it (avoid getting the kaleidoscope visualization) - there is something else you can use it for.

Never would have imagined this game would have secrets like that. :dsheart:

The place no god cube achievement seems to be tied to the alternate ending rather than not placing any god-cubes. Or at least I got both the full rainbow and game is not enough achievement on the same run. edit - or maybe I misunderstand what a god-cube is
