Modding Question
Came back to the series after some time and for all those who know you way around the modding landscape. I gotta ask what would be the TRUE Barebones essential mods to download for the sims 3 like when i watch alot of videos alot of them have like "essential" things that arent truly essential like new hair styles and what not what im looking for is. brass tacks true essentials to make the game run better on modern hardware and just general improvements to have a foundation for modding on my own that isnt like 50 mods long.

Look up ''how to optimize sims 3 by HelloYello'' , he has all the basic stuff there, but if you are planning to play DLC worlds you might need to look for world fixes too

hmmm would you possibly know how to get rid of the launcher [or rather how to make it not get stuck when you exit the game] i did follow a guide to remove it but then that comes with the issue of sims 3 constantly stuttering after so i reverted my changes. my guess is the launcher is possibly trying to constantly open which would be causing small lag spikes idk im not no modder.
