unplayable on win11 even with UAP patch :D

This game is one of my all time most loved games. A true classic GEM!

I will preface the review with a short note. This game being from the old days comes with some good and some bad things. And most of this is biased but thats how it goes with reviews I guess.

The good -
1) Atmosphere / Music - really gets you immersed into the game.
2) LOADS of sidequests - even after years of playing the game I still havent done all of them.
3) Interesting game mechanics like Magic vs Tech and Good vs Evil.
4) Story/lore is well made - Character development is good, companions are interesting and you start to care about them.
5) Art style - it just clicks with my tastes

Bad (in some sense) -
1) No tutorial (forces you to read and explore) - Means that the new players can have struggles with some mechanics, builds, quests. Some things in game just requires you to either know how to do things OR reading manual / google. On the good side - there are good resources out there with walktroughs and overall I consider its a sort of benefit that the game forces you to explore and not rush trough it. And I would encourage ppl going in blind and just do things for first few playtroughs without trying to "finish" the game.

2) Dated graphics / Gliches - not much to be said about this - just old game will be old game. If you dig the retro feel / art style - then its not gonna bother you.


Overall I highly recommed giving this game a try. Yes it has quirks and occasional headscraching moment. BUT if you vibe with it - this game will be well worth the money.
