Infrared Sensor and edge cases
After hours of frustration, I finally had a working Infrared Sensor. However, it scored bad on every metric. I looked up other peoples solution and saw the testing is flawed.

How many of these puzzles have this situation, whereby certain cases are never tested?

far few and in between. I remember having trouble with the infrared sensor because of his initial state (are we on or off?), but it's not something you'll encounter again.

Some of the later puzzles which use large numbers or complex data streams would have a very large number of test cases, too many to test all combinations.
