Absolutely incredible. An extremely well-polished VR game, with great writing, environments and action moments. I kept expecting it to be near the end, and it just kept throwing more levels at me. The benchmark of VR games.

As an adult human I have very little time to game. I think the last game I played through was Skyrim, and that was maybe 3 years ago. As far as I'm concerned HL:Alyx is the new standard for getting me to choose gaming over sleep, and that is literally what I have to do to get some game time. It has to be *this* immersive, *this* well-written and *this* f***ing fantastic. You can stop reading now and go buy and play it already. WHY ARE YOU STILL READING

Far and away the best VR game I have had the pleasure of playing. From being able to pick up a marker and draw willies on the window to (SPOILER) blasting electricity out of your hands towards the end of the game; just an exquisitely polished experience all round.
