(spoilers) What did you write on the tree and what did the tree say at the end?
Dont know if theres gonna be a way to see what users wrote on the tree so i wanted to make a post asking about it!
it feels like a personal experience so i wasnt sure about asking but i am curious...

I wrote on the tree “Sometimes things just happen. The universe doesn’t mean to hurt you.” (or something along that line, i cant recall my first sentence exactly now)

and the tree at the end said "Thank you for making everything right."

I wrote "I love you", lame I know. I was super emotional at that point, haha.

At the end the tree said "Never give up on your dreams, for The First Tree. She will light the way."

My text, was something about making the most of your life now and to not wait for the future. And that everything will be okay.

Afterwards the tree's message was "I love you, unconditionally."

I wrote "I love you...", I was crying at the time,
and I also got "I love you, unconditionally."

I don't remember what I wrote, but I know the tree responded with "He's in a better place now, my little light in the dark. Go ahead and fly to the sky."

I wrote, "Be not sad it's over; rejoice that it took place." Only 49 of the 122 stars I collected, and not very original, but since arriving at the tree was the second time this game prompted me to weep, I feel like I can be forgiven.

My tree said, "My children, I can not express the pure love that I had for you. I have only one request, find happiness." A much better offering, in my opinion.

For the ones, who might get my message, which is German, as I was not aware of the purpose at that point. You will read "Always believe the love, never the fear."
And thank you for the wonderful message I had: "Love transcents life."

I honestlly kinda of didn't get the ending...

I don't get it.. I beat the game.. some what understood some one died but the tree at the end with random saying from other people that have finished the game (spoiler) how is this game even remotly a tear jerker???

thats like say Too the moon was a tear jerker... and that didn't even have the feels

I didn't realize that other people would see it, so I just said "good night" on my last run. Better than WAIT WHAT WHOA I DIDN'T REALIZE THIS WOULD HAPPEN, when I reached the tree without seeing the third cub (sunrise+music didn't trigger). In return, I got "I hope we meet again in another life."



Way better than mine.

my main point this game wasn't a tear jerker nor was it remotly sad or had any feels.. Its a great game with a great store and amazing sound track but thats about it...

Its like people saying too the moon was a real tear jerker.. Hmm not it wasn't...
