I just started playing after buying the game on a discount. Says it a 2018 game but feels and looks like a 2006 game? Why is that, is it a remake? Will still try to finish it but still somewhat disappointing.

Ive reinstalled the game to continue it, seeing as Avowed is coming. I had reached only half way. However, since reinstalling it keeps saying that steamcloud could not sync, whats worse is that the game will not save. If you hit save in game nothing happens. It doesnt save. only Autosave works, but manual doesnt. I've reinstalled the game again, checked files many times, all that jazz. Has anyone else encountered this or knows how to fix it?...

I'm atm starving for immersive RPGs with character creation and cool companions etc. I tried to play PoE 1 a long while ago but couldn't get into it and kind of was bored as hell very quickly. The way the dialogues were written and the story was told couldn't grab me at all. (and I do play games liek Rogue Trader, it is not reading walls of texts that's a problem for me.) Does PoE 2 feel more engaging? Does it grab you better and more quickly? How are the companions and how can you bond with them/form rela...

And becoming ore hyped for Avowed by remembering how cool is this scenario and how good the writing is?

So I'am ultra huge fan of Baldur's Gate 3, which one of these games I will enjoy more? This one or Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous? UPD. So I started PoE2. I have a few complaints lika animations of hits and spells are quite underwhelming, hits doesn't feel strong, two handed sword hit feels like a toy. But overall the game is amazing so far.
