Idk why. Game was running fine. What could have happened?

I bought Spooky Bonus, and liked it so much, I bought Holiday Bonus Gold. What happened between them? This one (Holiday Bonus) seems much more generic. The graphics and resolution are somewhat pixelish when the play area is made larger, but way too small when left at original settings. There are 2 different "play" types, classic and gold, yet I see no real difference? Am I missing something, or was this one intended to be so generic? Is the spring one the same as this or more like Spooky?...
