Hey I noticed that the OP does play for me while the actual music and voices/SE don't play for me either. I guess we both have the same issue. Has yours gotten to work or have you found a way to fix it? T-T

sadly not yet! :( i tried to reinstall the game but still got the same problem

Yup, me too, and I just downloaded it the other day. No voices or music, just lots of sound effects. So sad...

Just got the game about a week ago. Opening credits & movie sound play, but nothing else. Has there been any fixes for this?

Not that I can tell so far. Everything directs me to the customer support site for the game manufacturer.I'm in the process of sending in an official bug report to "Iffy", via their English portal - I'll report back here if I hear anything.

Welp, I asked for a refund and was denied because it's been more than 2 weeks since I bought the game. So OK, fine, but then PLEASE FIX THE DARN THING so I can play it properly. One or the other, but you can't ignore both, that's just mean.

Don't know what happened, but all sounds and voices started working. There was a major Windows 10 update this week. First time I loaded the game after that, everything is working just fine.

Lucky! Glad it's working for you. I installed the same updates, and then reinstalled the game as well- no luck. Opening credits still stutter both video and audio, and the game runs with all sound effects but no character voices. Still so sad...

I just bought this game and I have absolutely no sound after opening movie. Tried reinstalling the game and nothing. sucks too cause i was looking forward to playing this.

So, I've just had the same problem as you all and I've found a fix.
My game wasn't installed on my main hard drive (C:\) but on an external hard drive. Moving the game from the external hard drive to the main hard drive fixed the bug.

I used the above link to reprt a problem and they were super helpful and gave me alot of solutions to try. seems to be working fine now but I think what fixed it for me was updating direct x, I hadn't realized it was out of date.

So, I'm having this problem today. DirectX is up to date and any other game is running just fine on my computer, but neither Kyoto Winds nor Edo Blossoms has any sound except for the opening video. :<
