Game opens, but crashes right away.
Okay, so now I have the executive, but all I get when the game launches is 5 seconds of a black screen and then nothing. Help.

I have a similar problem. the game launches now, but then closes after a few seconds.

all i can think of what the cause might be but can't be to sure as my game is working so i cant test it out for you guys.

make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, and make sure you have java or make sure if thats up dated aswell, these are the only thing i can think of.

Unfortunately I don't know how to check my graphics or even how to go about 'updating' them. My computer's not very old and all my other specs matched up though.

Could you maybe post your computer specs, especially your gpu? If you're playing on a gaming laptop you might have to manually select the graphics card on which the game should run (gaming and not integrated one). Use google if you don't know how to find/do any of this stuff.

this is how you can find the make of graphics card.

Click Start.
On the Start menu.
In the Open box, type "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.
The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the Display tab.
On the Display tab, information about your graphics card is shown in the Device section. You can see the name of your card, as well as how much video memory it has.

after you know the make of graphics card you then need to go to the graphics cards website. From there you would proceed to download the right drivers for you card, you also need to make sure you remove the old drivers as it can cause conflict, then install the new ones, im sure there would be alot of youtube video's explaining how to do it properly.

Hi there :)

My computer specs are:

Acer Aspire V3-571
Windows 10 64 bit
Intel core i5 2450 M
6144 MB RAM
Direct X 12
Intel HD graphics 3000
Realtek high definition audio

I don't think I have a gaming laptop...

Weird, your specs more than meet the minimum requirements. :/ Have you tried contacting Iffy on their website? Otherwise, maybe try running the game in compatibility mode? You may have done it already but verify the integrity of the game's files in properties (if you haven't). I hope you find a solution to your problem. :/

Yeah, funny thing. I also just get a black screen, sometimes I get "select language", but then the game crashes. Launching the game as dmin through the computerpath leads to black screen and then "Do you really want to quit?" And I tried several times to repair the game through Steam, it shows even an update, but it´s 0 bytes/0 bytes.

I had not the issue with the missing exe, because I downloaded it today, after the exe was included. It should run on normal laptops, not just high end gaming laptops, it´s no hardware hungry Witcher 3 or Dragon Age Inquisiton. Damn, the game looks nice and I really would like to delve into it. -.-
Well, I´ll just wait if there´s going to be a real patch, because this 0 bytes bugs me, that´s not normal.

Yeah... still no solution. I filled in an official form and I've done everything I can think of *sighs*

I'm also having the same issue of the black screen at load up, it seems pointless asking for specs as i've tried playing it on both my laptop and pc... both broken. Definately an issue with the game on their end.

*I have asked for a refund as the game still doesn't work. I'll keep checking on here to see if they fix it though. Maybe then i'll buy it again.

Yeah *sighs* I should`ve known it was too good to be true, i`ll just have to sneak in time with my samurai during the school year ;)
