At the entrance to Atlantis, the game crashes when I place the Worldstone on the spindle (an action required to progress in the game). It displays the following error message:

Bit variable 2048 out of range(r) (min 0, max 2047)

then any subsequent mouse-click or key press closes the game window. My PC is running:

It sucks to encounter a game-crashing bug after 12 hours of play with the game ~85% completed.
