Take the action/adventure and puzzle formula of Darksiders 2, strip away the lootsystem entirely and sprinkle in a heavy portion of souls-like and you have Darksiders 3.

The overall production quality, design and world is just as good, if not better than it was in it predecessors, but the actual story told is almost non-existing. For the third time in a Darksiders game you are sent on a mission by the Charred Council, the main character spends the entire game doubting their mission because something is a bit off about it, and then surprise surprise, the Charred Council were the bad guys all along.

Gameplay wise this is not on par with Fromsoft's game, far from it, but I found the action to be more enjoyable than in the previous games, if anything I would have liked a bit more variation to it.

Overall a fun game to play, with a cool world to explore and lots of secrets to find.

taking into consideration that this game was a return to the series after a studio closure this is a really good game it's the least darksiders game i like but still it's great
