each party member has a specialty.. for example Aphra uses guns and bombs... she will replenish the bullets and bomb materials on her own. You don't need to give her anything. each item you craft is for your own use.

not with potions(from what I remember), but there are skills that you can get(magic skill tree) that when used can replenish party health.

no, they will act on their own, but I will encourage you to put points into 'charisma'. This way they will be more effective in combat.
