Go to control panel, programs, Uninstall Nvidia Physx, restart computer and the game should run

er, doesnt this game use physx? you cant just uninstall all of it... you would at least need to run the game's physx version installer once again

so far most of these do not start reports seem to be windows10 users

I am running windows 10. By uninstalling Physx the game ran once for me then the same problem when I started it again. UPDATE: I went to Nvidia control panel,3d settings,configure surround/Physx, Physx settings, processor: change from auto select(recommened) to your geforce card. The game now starts as normal for me. I hope this helps

How do I do that?

For those who have already done the previous steps and still haven't solved the problem in 2025, I moved the game to disk C and enabled the reduced color mode to 16 bits on the game icon in its folder.
(sorry for the bad English)

In Launch params write: "-novid"

For anyone having this issue. What fixed it for me was installing the game on an SSD instead of an HDD for some reason it started again.
