The same for me

Got in a bundle so it’s not a total loss but it’s a shame there no fix I’ve found cause I was lookin forward to tryin this one

Go to manage, then browse files. Right click Darknessll application and run as administrator. It should create a steam start file. Then try launching from library again. That worked for me.

didnt work :(

Same here. I was able to play the game for a little while back in September and wanted to carry on now. I re-installed it today but every time I click on play, the game tries to download a new executable, then something happens and doesn't start.

EDIT: It appears that the culprit for this problem, as far as I can tell, is Windows Defender and its firewall. Disabling it or restarting your computer might fix the problem. It worked for me at least.

Restarting the PC solved the problem for me.

ahahahahhaah my pc restarting about 10 times, i tryna all ways to resolve this problem but nothing didnt help me

Retry the above mentioned method if the first "steamstart" file doesn't solve it. I have 2 of them and now it launches it. Be sure to first launch the game while the files are being made.

u mean u create the second file? or its about the root folder of the game?
