LOL. Planting can be a drag. It's not actually necessary to plant crops for progress. Flowers work well. Animals need feeding so they can be pain, too. If you want diamonds, plant money trees. If you want money, farm fish. As you collect gold (random from harvesting) you can exchange for tickets and medals.

Yeah, I decided last night that if these missions were just going to get worse and worse that I would spend all my nuggets on medals. Unfortunately, I played Farm Together 2 first (and am still playing it), and so I have put down way too many animals for this game, so I've traded nuggets for gold a couple of times to feed them, but now i've switched to only feeding them if they are part of a mission. If you haven't played 2, there's no money cost to feeding the animals. You just feed them from your crops.
