This game would honestly be "Okay" if it were still in early access.
But there are just too many bugs.
The biggest issue here is that the devs seem to rely on the community to fix the issue with the game not launching on Intel and requires a work around where you need to add a system variable.

Aside from that, gameplay is highly repetitive, and not in a good way.
After unlocking the semi-auto shotgun, other weapon pickups stop making sense and picking one up in game will actually be more like a handicap.

The sprite layering also seems to be clearly broken, with sprites appearing in front or behind others when they should not.

Unlocking new areas doesn't really offer much in terms of new gameplay experience and everything just feels like a re-skin.

It's also not a great design choice to make the "aim" and "player movement" fight for control over the camera in this game.
Instead all that happens is the character will move and the aim will stay where it was, which feels weird and reduces the available view angle in the portion of the screen you moved to.

Instead it would have been better to take a similar approach to vampire survivors where the camera is also centred on the player.
OR at the very least if you're going to let the aim control the camera then at least make it the only factor that does so.
Don't make player movement and aim both affect it.
It feels weird and isn't fun.

Also, another note to the devs, play test your game... if you play tested the whole game, you would probably catch that you left a level description with placeholder text in it...

On sale at 90% discount, sure, it's fun for about an hour.
More than that, no deal.
