Even though it wasn't made by the original dude i find monkey island 3 to be THE definitive monkey island experience.
The inclusion for the first time (at that time back in the 90's) of the voice of Dominique Armato as Guybrush alone is what makes monkey island 3 the best.
The artstyle adds to the atmosphere in such a way i wish all games in the series were made like this.

I played this game as a 10 year old kid. I still remember buying a DVD from a toy shop. I loved it and I still love it after 20 years. Thanks LucasArts for this masterpiece. It made my childhood awesome!
