Max Resolution?
First of all, congrats on the release! (I'm a KS backer)

I just installed the game and took a quick 10 min look at it and it seems to look great thus far.

I do have one (rather minor) issue though.

I have an ultra-wide (21:9 aspect ratio) monitor with 3440x1440 resolution. Almost all modern games handle this without issues, but I was surprised to see that HARDCORE MECHA only allows a max resolution of 1920x1080 and even though it seems to stretch the game graphics (except the cut scenes) to fill the screen's height, there are still black borders on the side and that's a lot of wasted screen space...

I hope there is (or soon will be) a way to utilize the entire screen space, so please, let me know if there's a way to do this now (maybe via launch parameters?) or a future update to address this is planned.

Thank you!

Yeah, I have a 1440p display, and still only stuck at 1080p

dealbreaker in 2019 not to have 1440p supported. Maybe when it is i'll purchase.

You can hold ctrl when the game launches to select 1440p, I've tried it but I'm not sure if there's a difference since it looks great either way. The 1080p option on my 1440p monitor looks perfect as far as I can tell.

As for ultrawide, you can hold ctrl and check if it's supported. I'm not sure it's realistic to expect them to support it, I'm guessing it's not a common setup where it was developed.

Just played it for first time on 4K panel.. 1080P max.. wow.. looks bad.. I wonder if I can upscale the switch version on Yuzu. Have to buy it on Switch first also, so will wait for a sale. Apparently PS5 version is also 1080P so won't bother there.
What is with people releasing 1080P games in 2019?

For the time of release in 2019 I don't think it was that crazy for the game to be 1080p primarily. That said it certainly ought to support higher resolutions, or at least scale them well.
