Over the top, strange action like Yakuza is insanely boring to me.
aRE YOU TROLLING?
i WAS BORN IN 1989 GENIUS. THIS GAME CAME OUT IN THE YEAR 2000 IN NORTH AMERICA
I was 11 years old.
yakuza does literally everything better
1 is good, has a good story based in Japan and is a very good game.
2 is even better based in mainland China. 2 has a lot more immersion in it and just little things that flesh the game out more. The little interactive things you can do and just more items to interact with in general.
If anything 3 is the worst and true fans won't like it. I know personally it does not even interest me and i don't own it. 3 just does not have the same vibe as the first two which are masterpiece works.
This game is not meant to be action packed. The game is about being an interactive story the immerses the player in the plot. If you don't like plot in games then you wont like this games.
This games dialog is not painful at all there is plenty of games that are worse, At the same time comes and plays a game that is about dialogue and complains about that go figure.
This game is iconic dude and many ppl love this game.
Im not wrong. You are lol
the dialogue is wooden, voice acting straight up bad, and this game is just a tedious slog. Why assume I "dont like story"??? This game is just boring and I expect an entertaining game. It's literally just, go talk to this person, then this person, then this person, then bad combat, all at a garbage 30 fps lol. No thanks. yakuza 0 has a way better story too
Ryo Hazuki is also an Iconic Character dude and he is the face of an entire era. I would also go as far as to say that he is the "Face" of SEGA's Dreamcast just like Mario is for Nintendo.
People like Ryo and his story and the Shenmue games and there is many people globally that like it. You don't have to come in here and tell everyone that you have self induced adhd from scrolling and cannot concentrate on a interactive story game for more than 2 secs.
if you think the dialogue in this game is heavy you wrong. This is light comparerd to many other games in its genre. There is some novel games that literally take like 30 minutes of dialogue before you even get to do anything.
If you also think the game is bad and does not hold up then you also wrong. The game holds up extremely well and actually runs better than the original version.
You don't have to like the game that is fine but at the same time you don't need to come in here just to tell us that, and then expect others to agree with you.
At the same time the original is a masterpiece and playing it on the hardware of its time using the original version does hold up just as well because all the nuances to the game like the FPS and the engine and how the dreamcast works and all the techniques they used to get the game working. All these
actually give the game a level of character that we miss out on when using the remake.
They are insanely similar. Thats why people compare them. Im not new to shenmue. I own the physical dreamcast version. Its just not that good and never was as good as people made it out to be
