At first i was trying to press them anytime they popped up because i didn't want to miss anything, but it seems like only maybe 5-10% they say something useful, the rest of the time it just stops the game for some annoying, inane dialog or restating the obvious like 6 different ways. It's really starting to get on my nerves and make me dislike the characters.

Should i just stop pressing those buttons, or is there some important plot stuff you can only get by listening to all the talk prompts?
