In the demo before this patch, I was swimming below the starting area in single player, headed right, and then dialog/ story occurred... with my stamina still draining... unable to move. Causing me to drown to death and miss what was being said.

I didn't see that in the patch notes, so you might want to fix that too.

i'm just curious about the multiplayer equipment menu, why wasn't it this way from the beginning was there an issue or what?

So Heliocentric Studios is a team of two and as such, implementing online functionality was a very large undertaking. Now the team are in a good position to further expand upon existing features they're doing so :)

Are you going to work on the auto-targeting, using a mage is really painful to use right now because of seamingly random targeting.

Please fix the auto aim on the mage. It consistently refuses to attack enemies that are right in front of you, instead locking onto a random enemy which not only wastes mana when the shots hit the wall most of the time, but health as well since the enemy in front of you is now not dead.
Ideally a button to switch enemies would be perfect, that way you can always know who you are attacking as well

I know, right?! I could have lived with the damage reduction, Knights were really heavy hitters with huge defense... but to nerf their ability as well, that's way overkill.

Right? They move at the speed of smell and now they can't even hit for any appreciable damage. Class just went straight to useless.
