Is there any "Normal" server in this game?

First time posting on steam forums I think, bear with me: The game, the myth, the legend. Been a Giant Bomb fan for a while and the reverence they have for this game on the early bombcasts always stuck with me. Hello, I'd like to know, are there still people on the servers or are they just bots?

We possibly want to host a good old succesfull cod4 server! I'm a developer of a DayZ server called KarmaKrew. I've loved this game as a teen and im looking at it now and would love to play a good match of vanilla, random maps (or specific pool) of COD4. For fun we would possibly like to host a COD4 server with 48/48 or something players. Would the community of cod4 (and more people) be possible interested in that?
