Report a translation problem
The maps are linear with tricky platforming sections and various gimmicks. One hit kills you unless you have a shield (which lets you survive a single hit).
You cannot save in the middle of a zone, just like you couldn't back in the day. I think there's like one checkpoint per map. So, the game calls for memorization and improving your skills; you cannot simply force yourself through the zones via savescumming.
It looks innocent but it's quite difficult.
Even the move set feels like you're playing as Dixie Kong for the whole game, right down to the helicopter glide ability.
But it also reminds me that I'm terrible at platformers lmfao. I feel like a games journalist
