I've played through the game three times, changing my answers completely for the last playthrough, and I can't seem to get to act 2? I can only choose August in the first option, every time, and no matter who I choose for the second option, the game just goes to the end and the credits roll. Steam is telling me that Act 2 is installed, what am I missing?...

I've only been playing Act 2 for about five minutes, but I just wanted to say that Ethel is a really beautifully written character, and even though I suspect happiness is not in the cards for her immediate future, I'm already completely invested in her story too. This is mostly an appreciation post and a small reminder for Studio Elfriede to update the Tumblr timeline. First off, I wanted to say Acts I and II of BWH are fabulously done. I truly have never played a visual novel as beautiful as this one. One aspect I love is the majestic writing. All of the dialogue flows so perfectly and even the little quirks in dialogue, for example when characters go "um" or stop thinking due to nervousness, really bring the atmosphere to life.
