They might do it because Ubisoft Launcher has controller support and you can start games there via controller so i imagine they want blue byte to implement it on pc as well for sure.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. you are correct. i had removed anno from my mind since they said somethere that no support is coming and i got 2 new thread updates after factorio comes with the update.
I want to play it on rog ally personally
Unfortunatley Ubisoft already declined that request and wont add support for gamepads in the PC version :(
There are mouse emulators for controllers out there. Xpadder, Controller Companion here on Steam, Joytokey etc.
If you're running windows on your steam deck, it might be good to look into, but native controller support would be great seeing as they've already done it on ps5.
Thank you for your post.
At the moment, we do not have any information on plans to add a controller support for the Steam PC version of Anno 1800.
no Controller support for this game ever coming.
