Controller Support

Hey with the release of Anno 1800 to the PS5, are there any plans from Ubisoft currently to give the PC version the same Controller support?
It would be Great to play on steam deck and with Steam Link in my Living Room.

Mhhh i personaly would be able to play Anno on a Handheld especialy if it has touch support with help of a bit "joytokey" but ya with the console release they should also give the option to PC.

They might do it because Ubisoft Launcher has controller support and you can start games there via controller so i imagine they want blue byte to implement it on pc as well for sure.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. you are correct. i had removed anno from my mind since they said somethere that no support is coming and i got 2 new thread updates after factorio comes with the update.

PC controller support would be nice. I would love to play this chilling on my couch and looking at a very large screen.

Unfortunatley Ubisoft already declined that request and wont add support for gamepads in the PC version :(

There's a console version!? I remember growing up playing AoE2 on ps2, was great fun but with the controller it was a massive pain to play.

There are mouse emulators for controllers out there. Xpadder, Controller Companion here on Steam, Joytokey etc.

If you're running windows on your steam deck, it might be good to look into, but native controller support would be great seeing as they've already done it on ps5.

Oh snap I was just about to buy this on sale and realized no controller support! Looking for great city building games with controller support since my stupid wrist can't handle a mouse for more than 20 minutes these days

Any updates to Controller support under pc. I would love to see this and hope the developer recognize the huge need by many handheld players.
