Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition was supposed to be a grand return to form, a polished update of a classic RTS that once stood tall among its peers. The game is interesting but the optimization is the worst I've ever seen. After one or two games, unreal lags begin, it doesn't matter how much virtual memory you have, 16 or 32, you will lag, on some maps like Forest, it's impossible to play at all, a game for 8 people lags for EVERYONE absolutely, and these lags are literally fps up to 1-5 and a response time of one minute. There is no reconnection system, that is, if someone's internet lags for a second, they will be thrown out of the game and that's it.. 2 hours in vain. Your nerves are not worth it. It's a pity that they made this game free AFTER I bought it.
