The devs havent abandoned this game regardless of what the naysayer trolls say. Its pretty obvious that they are developing the game and soon we will have new content update with colonisation, . But honestly the haters will hate and cry....

I'm sure the owners of the game won't do it, but I was watching a Space X rocket launch video and really wanted to play KSP 2. Only to find that it's not finished, and hasn't been for some time. At this point they need to sale the rights to it, and I think a space-based company would be a great idea. Let's say they sale it to Space X, it would give that company a game they could not only promote space travel in, but would also be a promotional item for new toys they build. Probably not an original thou...
