Answers to some FAQs

Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we've had regarding the Steam version of BTD 6:

Q: I purchased the game on mobile, do I need to pay for it again on Steam?
A: Unfortunately, yes. Platforms are completely separate so the game license can't be transferred or shared between them.

Q: Can I sync my game data between the Steam version and my mobile device?
A: Yes! All you need to do is log in using the same account you use on your mobile device!
You can also sync your data by using a linking code from your mobile account (settings>profile>"Get a Linking Code"), then entering that when you're prompted to log in on Steam.

Q: What hotkeys are available in the Steam version of Bloons TD 6?
A: Yes! Here's a list of the hotkeys:

U - Place your hero
Q → Y - Place a primary tower
Z → N - Place a military tower
A → G - Place a magic tower
H → K - Place a support tower
1 → 9 - Use a power (main game)
1 → = - Spawn Bloons (sandbox)
O → \ - Spawn blimps (sandbox)
, . / - Upgrade path 1/2/3 respectively
1 2 3[numpad] - Upgrade path 1/2/3 respectively
[space] - Start round/toggle fast forward
[backspace] - Sell selected tower
[escape] - Pause/deselect tower
[tab] - Cycle targetting priority
[shift] - Hold while clicking to place another of the same tower

Why not give owners of the steam and mobile versions the double money IAP free when they link accounts? It clearly can't be purchased on the steam version anyway and then people wouldn't feel so annoyed by not only paying for the game twice but also being forced to spend more than it costs on mobile. ($7.50 AUD up to $15 AUD seems lke a steep price raise when there is 0 difference)

Why do the people who already bought it have to shell out again?

And not just that, why do they have to pay MORE than what they paid on mobile?

You could add a discount code if you already own the game on mobile?

Because that's how it's always been. It's 10 dollars, it's not a big deal, if it genuinely makes you angry, just play mobile. You don't have to get it, it's made for people who want the game on PC..

Of course you would pay more on PC vs Mobile, its mobile after all

Game is already broken for me. It won't even let me link accounts no matter what I do. Every option just says its already been taken by another account, which is kind of the point when you try to link accounts across two different devices.

Hi guys, I currently have this problem, after the 8 steps screen I tap the start button then a black screen with the gold monkey says loading, but it doesn't stop loading, has anyone had this problem? How can it get fixed? I'm afraid of losing all my progress, I had logged in as Google play, am I gonna lose progress if I unistall and install? Please help, thanks!

knowing the game would cost money again is why i waited i didn't want to but it was worth the wait also if you bought double cash mode on one platform it should be avaliable on the other
