Will it run half decent?
Hello,

Here are my specs:
Laptop
OS: Windows 10 64bit
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: GTX 960m 2gb
CPU: core i7 4720hq
Storage: SSD

Will it run this game half way decent at low settings? All I care is getting 60 fps stable. Wouldn't mind a few FPS drops during fancy effects assuming I get any at low settings.

Cheers!

You left out your CPU specs (which is kinda important), however:
* Your system is pushing the lower limit of the minimum specs required for Grounded

In theory, the 4GB vRAM 960m is 12-15% faster than the min. recommended GTX 650 Ti.
You have the (ASUS/Dell?) special 2GB vRAM version, so it's maybe 6-10% faster (at best).

Will it run this game half way decent at low settings?
Half-Way Decent is somewhat subjective, but to even have a chance at playable frame rates you will have to turn ALL of the Grounded graphics settings to their lowest settings...

You may even have to play at lower than 1024x768 resolution as well.

Make sure your fans and radiators are clean, or you will end up cooking your M/B or GPU.

All I care is getting 60 fps stable.
That's probably not happening on a (estimated) 9+ year old laptop.
Even modern systems with 40-series cards struggle with FPS in Grounded Boss Fights.

You'll be lucky to get "stable" 20-30 FPS, & Boss Fights will likely be unplayable slide shows.
You can not successfully complete the game without at least (some) of the Boss Fights.

Good luck.

You are right, I forgot the CPU. I was actually wonder what I missed about the specs. I edited it, now.

Thanks for the thorough answer. I saw the minimum specs being somewhat low and thought maybe I could run it. I guess I will pass on this.

Thanks a lot! Cheers!
You're Welcome.

Grounded is one of the better Survival (Forage, Craft, Build, and Try NOT to Die) Games.
It is definitely worth the money/time.

At the very least,
You could try it and if the performance is too bad return it within your 2 hour window.

I still think you are going to have to lower the graphics quite a bit for the best experience, and Boss Fights will be extra challenging at sub-20 FPS, but that'd be your best shot at it.
