Can't even open on steam

I just got this and can't even open it on steam!!!! I unistalled it and verified the files twice. Any help would be great, if I can't get it to work I'll just get a refund.

I'd cap the resolution to 1280.. this game doesn't run on high res.

how do i set this if i can't open title screen? somewhere in the file itself?

Library> thronebreaker > properties> general > launch options: (copy and paste)

-screen-width 1280 -screen-height 720
