Thronebreaker is showing xbox controller and mouse inputs at the same time
I just started playing Thronebreaker and want to play with my mouse and keyboard only but for some reason it keeps showing controller inputs over mouse inputs even when my xbox controller is not connected. For example it would say press "A" button (as in xbox controller A button) to confirm but when I'm hovering with my mouse, the left click button on the mouse symbol also shows. It keeps going back and forth. When I click with my mouse I have to press several times to bypass the controller inputs and functions.

Is there a way to remove the controller inputs and functions. This is the first time I've seen this type of strange mix up when playing any game through Steam.

Game detects my joystick instead of keyboard / mouse?
That is so damn annoying. I have a HOTAS joystick and it is always plugged in. But when i launch the game, the damn game detects my joystick automatically and when i move mouse it detect mouse keyboard but as long as i stop moving mouse or while trying to click on it without moving mouse it automatically detect joystick again.

What is funny is that this problem exist for GWENT game too. Cant fix a damn thing after 4 years? WOW. Anyone got a workaround about this without disabling my joystick setup?

Did you ever figure out a solution? I just bought a HOSAS system and am very frustrated it's forcing me to unplug it. I've tried changing the game settings in steam but nothing seems to work.

Unfortunately no. I plugged out my joystick and played like that for a while.

UNPLAYABLE - Controller / Mouse
Alright... I think it's kinda ridiculous this hasn't been fixed yet.

Even though I don't have any Controller plugged in atm Thronebreaker keeps frantically switching between my Mouse input and Controller prompts.
I can't play the game - at all.

How can I fix this without the "uninstall the Controller Drivers each time you want to play" nonsense?

I just figured out what is causing this. You have some other USB device plugged in that is causing this poorly programmed game to think it's a Xbox controller. For me, it was a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. Even having rudders and whatnot plugged in will cause this.

Hold your right mouse button down to stop the flickering between xbox and pc inputs. There is an annoying sound that happens when you don't do this, but you can live with it when questing - it just becomes ambient sound.
You will obviously need to release the RMB at times during the quest and card battles, but the game is playable this way.

When will this be fixed??? I have no controller plugged in and yet the controls keep jumping from controller to mouse, in this state the game is literaly unplayable!
