MK1 is DEI politic correctness garbage . You could say MK11 was the first step in this direction but at least they saved some face and tried to salvage the situation . MK is too big to flop too easily but I see the day when Netherealm becomes a support studio at best and die by their own hands at worst.
But some of the main factors I would say is the price. You can pick up MK11 for under 5 bucks, meanwhile MK1 atm cost around 9 times that price, for arguably less content.
There's also the performance issues. Many people complain about fps stutters in MK1.
I enjoy both games, but if I had to say which one offers better value then it would be MK11 by a mile.
Never thought of it like this, but seeing this I say you are right. Mk4 was the least crap out of every crap MKs though. :)
Mk11 was on sale many times while MK is a recently released.
its the cameo system for me and the lack of fun singleplayer content in mk1.
