What I have noticed lately though is a lot of purposeful team killers. Bunch of very depressed and angry teens/adults doing it on purpose.
I do recall that the sequential ban timer reset after 16 hours, although that might have changed. As in, you could quit 1 match and have the minimum penalty, and then 16 hours later you can do quit again and only face the minimum penalty. Any quitting within a 16 hour period would restart the 16 hour timer and increase the sequential ban by 1 stage.
And before anybody brings up "over time", CoD still brings in those numbers year after year; or at-least 10's of 1,000's in some of the older games, despite zero server maintenance and Activision trying to kill some of them off.
INB4 sweaty ban simps who never go outside or spend any time in the real world come in and defend bans cause their experience is being "ruined"
From a legal perspective, we paid for the Campaigns, and the Multiplayer is a courtesy offered by Microsoft. They could shut down the servers tomorrow and we'd have no legal recourse, because there's nothing in the purchase/use agreement that obligates Microsoft to freely host servers. On top of that, part of the use agreement is that we users promised to play nice and follow the rules, so it's kind of ironic that you're complaining about being temporarily denied a service for not following rules you agreed to follow.
Also, it's highly ironic that you complain that your experience is being ruined by people who claim their experience is being ruined. Who are we supposed to believe, the guy named "wipe my ass simulator" or the company that has clearly defined and generally accepted rules about what is and isn't allowed? Might as well complain about speed limits being enforced because you feel like you should be able to drive as fast as you want. Like, I speed, especially when crossing the country, but if I get caught then that's on me. I'm not going to get mad at the State Trooper just for doing his job.
Way to blame gay people for the dev team being lazy. What kinda argument is this? Do you have any idea how silly you sound?
