How would you react if Microsoft announced HALO MCC for PS4 and PS5?
Hello. I have only PS5 to play games, and honestly? This is one of the titles that I am truly dreaming of getting on my platform.
I have heard amazing reviews and stories about Halo 1-3 and Reach, and given the chance I would totally get myself disk for my collection.
I know it might upset a lot of PC/Xbox gamers, but honestly? I believe there is a big upside for this, which would be additional funding for next Halo, and more people aying this amazing series. And PS gamers are known to pay Full Price, even for old games, like Sea of Thieves, which exceeded all expectations of sales on PS. Same with HiFi Rush.
I dont want to be toxic or troll, I just want to play games on a device that I like.

Great, happy. I ain't no console warrior. It absolutely should and likely will happen, I'm pretty sure the Xbox is dying anyway.
I wouldn't care. The Xbox brand hasn't meant anything but sour feelings to me for over a decade.

How do you only have PS5 to play games on when you played Team Forest 2 yesterday?

Also only dumb xbox people would be upset if this came to Playstation, the more people that can play the better.

I used to be a PC gamer and spent 3000 hours in TF2 before PS5. Now my "PC" is a potato laptop who can barely run TF2 at minimal settings and withh all gimmicks to increase FPS. I still love TF2
I'd be impressed if they managed to completely rewrite 11 engines for a totally different platform(s), and have it work. I'd also love to know what kind of numbers they came up with that would justify the expenditure needed to do this.

This isn't a "ps sux" thing, but Halo/Blam are very deeply tied to DirectX/Direct3D, which afaik, PS4/5 does not support natively.
Wouldn't bother me, but I would say it's as likely as Xbox getting Spiderman games.

I don't care, but just as a warning... giving the track record porting to PlayStation will probably break everything and you will need to wait 5-10 years after release to actually be able to play.

It would likely also somehow break the Xbox and PC versions too, somehow.

But seriously, if they would port it but it would be bad on start... I wouldnt buy it. Atleast at the start of PS release.

Online people saying that Halo MCC runs nicely on Steam Deck's SteamOS. And AFAIK, PS OS is actually a kinda Linux? So maybe there is a way to properly port.

PS4 and PS5 use Orbis OS, which is a fork ofFreeBSD.
