Excavation
Is there a way to not have to exvacate every block by hand to remove a hill/mountain to place a flat space for the mega buildings?

Explosives and Elevators.... that is all we got
Explosives are aren't great because them aren’t very precise
Elevator are better, as you can set the height to end at.

Yeah, explosives at least for now. We need like "precision explosives" or some other mechanism so we can dig flag surfaces.

Well we do have easy access to mods now, and Erkle suite of stuff has a terrain mod.

So place and replace an elevator over and over again ... I don't think it's faster or less exhaustive for a wide area though definitely has advantages for depth.

Where's that?

There's "Workshop" section in Steam available for Foundry after the last update.
I personally would advise "Big Boom" mod for the purpose of excavation

I forgot the s, elevators… like a full inventory of them.
You make a line of them… like 30+ in a row in the air above the land you wanna level. I copy 127 to the clipboard (as 128 is the water level, and that is the level I want the my floor at). I then hit add floor paste the 127 as the name and level and hit ok then build, while it’s building I’m going down the line.
This gives a straight 6m meter wide gash down the length of elevators

But can you copy the settings between the elevators like you can do with the industrial machines? Definitely should check this out, as it will help alout with uncovering the veins if it works

Already tried, You can't.
I have to go to the screen, hit add floor, you have enter a floor name and a level (hence just pasting the 127 twice) hit ok, then build.
Fenix, you are a genius.

Humping stuff up and down mountains is making me tired. Thank you.

Yeah, this is the way now.
I would really like a more immersive solution to precision mountain removal. I hope the devs see this thread.

We are getting this…

I do think that is epic, but doesn't quite have the precision I'm looking for.
