Unfortunately, this game is not finished properly.
Full of bugs and bad balance and almost empty.
What is on the page in Steam is not the same as in the game for a long time, either it is not there or it has been changed.

Each new start is pretty much the same just with a different conversation and moved resources, nothing to discover nothing new. There are no secret new things, nothing, everything is the same.
Poor handling of your undead almost feels like running a sack of potatoes at times and they don't do things right. And many more bugs like your hero stopping, cutting and stopping, enemies disappearing and what not. The more I play, the more new bugs I find. At least there is variety in this.
The story starts with audio just a few sentences and that's it and it gets confusing and boring.
Most of the things you unlock are useless skills and spells if they drop at all.
The game wants you to use tactics when everything is chaos all the time, they should have made it simpler.
The more things you use, the more buggy it becomes.
And it was abandoned by the creators. The game is like early access.
Overlord is a better designed game.
It looks like they put in the effort, but to some extent, the assembly was made in a hurry.
Either with a big discount or it's not worth it at all. The game is empty repetitive and boring.

Unique. Fun.
