BUY THIS GAME ONLY ON A MAJOR SALE
After patch 06.06.2024 the game started to crash every 5 minutes! Fix it! It is impossible to play!

Overall the game will appeal to Harry Potter fans, but the game has a lot of problems and is quite boring. I hope I can see a really good game based on the Harry Potter universe someday.

We demand an update to fix the crashing issue. myself and many others with different CPU'S are crashing even after apply all the guidelines to fix the issue, the game itself is the problem there is a bug that needs to be fixed.

I played the game for 600+ hours previously (have all three of the lovely DLC collections).. stopped playing for awhile but came back when I realized there was a new patch. OMG this recent patch has ruined the game for PC. It crashes constantly. After many many crashes, I found a link to portkey games with suggestions. - did all their suggestions to verify it wasn't local issues.
All drivers are up to date;
Had steam check integrity;
Uninstalled in steam, removed folders locally then had steam reinstall.
I don't use RGB keyboard
My Antivirus is not an issue
Sent a bug report in, got an email asking me to do all the things I had already done and asking for me to send them a screenshot of my EULA agreement page. Did that plus zipped up all the crash files from their crash folder and sent them.

After going through all the checks and having Steam reinstall the game, if anything the crashing has gotten worse. I went from crashing 1 or 2 times every 1/2 hour to crashing within 2 minutes of logging on. You lose progress. or the NPC you are with stops working. For example: Netty in the quest The Lost Child. First run, she was helping fight... by the last crash (12 crashes in) when I relogged, the quest would start, Netty would chatter and run along with you.. but would stand and stare at her feet when the battle started. By the 20th crash, she would stand in one place, say a few lines and just stay there. I abandoned the quest and got it again at the start point. Netty ran with my character to the tent where the child is supposed to go to hide. Game crashed. relogged and made it as far as the Wolf encounter - Netty stood staring at the ground while my character killed the wolves and then the game crashed again. Relogged and half the wolves were still alive - killed them again and continue the run following the revealed footsteps.. crashed three time.. got to camp where bad guys are, started fight - crashed approximately 8 times before made it into the tent. Once in the tent Netty seemed to be working again. Crashed at first battle. Relogged and Netty wouldn't leave the entrance.. she'd just stand there. Crashed after first fight 4 times - finally said 'F..' it and went through all the steps to try and fix it... which lead to crashing within seconds of logging on. here I am... more than little frustrated with the game.

The game is no longer playable.

If they can fix whatever they introduced in this patch to cause all these crashes - I'll play again, but at the moment, the game is just not enjoyable at all.
