The Romans came to our homelands and conquered us and much more, but the Latin west's demise will make us stronger. Rome has made Greece into a massive empire that we can not aford to slip away if we want a future where Greeks are the most advanced and powerful people. Too many times have the Greeks failed in creating an empire but we should thank the Romans for giving us all of their eastern posessions.

But the Romans have also taught us many things including law, fighting wars and how to maximize the use of your land. Now we must centralize our economy and military to defend our lands from the Danube to the Nile.

☧ The Apocalypse that has plagued the West ☧

Ever since the first Germanian invasion of the Rhine frontier, the western half of the empire has been in decline. And now the Huns break through the weaken boarders and raid Gaul almost daily taking all the important resouces in the region. The Franks follow behind the Huns to occupy the land, removing it the Roman sphere for good. In the south the vandals take Hispana and the furtile North African lands. And then the Visgoths and Ostrogoths push into Italy recently sacking the eternal city.
Europe is now a dark, cold place with no civilization. A great freeze pushes from the north forcing all south to the Roman lands.
But Consatinople is a growing light in a dark world where all of the scholars of fine art and mathimatics come for safty behind our walls and a warm bed to sleeps in every night with a full stomach. The lands of the east are rich and well protected which give our citizens a drive to learn and better our empire.

A good rolepaying group isnt about how many mebers it has for how many posts their are. The people who roleplay a atually care matter. So I ask anyone how is interested in the history of this empire and roleplaying please talk to me and I can set you up. Then once we have enough people we can begin roleplaying and I will instruct people on how to RP realistically and in a more fun way if not already experienced.
