If it's the steam group and literally everybody was offline, well that's >7000 people so obviously a bug, if it's the mumble server then it's just what I said about timing, although there's usually at least a couple of people in the AFK channel or AFK in other channels at any one time rather than it being completely empty.

When you say you got banned, did it tell you a reason and a person?

Sounds more like a network issue on your end causing you to be unable to connect and I think changing over to teamspeak won't fix that and will be a lot of hassle for everyone else.

What's the plan/idea?

We've recently talked about how just jumping into a game all at once doesn't really make a good event, there needs to be some sort of objective. Last time we played this was in the July mega month and it was pretty boring; we'd just meet up somewhere then wouldn't know what to do.

Think something akin to the ducks in APB or Mr Smiths in gmod.

This event was a bit of a mess, I didn't expect nor did I want to do any planning or commanding because I don't know what this game has to offer. I simply wanted to observe. But Hero's game was crashing constantly and everyone else who might've wanted to direct something was either not here or were too busy shooting up with their heroin (playing Dota). Fucking addicts, man.

So positional audio was broken for some people without any reason, no one had any ideas that lasted more than 30 seconds, game itself is a mess anyway and to top it all off some friends of mine unexpectedly came to my flat because they were close by, so I too abandoned the event to go play music and socialize and all that shit.

When you're on the server, press t to type and type in the following:

/f join ABF poop

Now you'll be able to teleport to other members in the group! To do that type:

/f goto anothermartz

That'll teleport you to me, but you can also teleport to anyone.

You can also press TAB to autocomplete someone's name so for instance with Murrphh you can type "/f goto murr" then press TAB and it'll autocomplete to "/f goto Murrphh".

Searching on how to do this manually is a bit of messing around as there are multiple mods so I made this all in one guide to get minecraft looking alright.

It's not exactly optimized, expect low frames even with a beast.

Install and run vanilla minecraft on the version you're going to play on (1.7.2 if playing on mega month server)

Step 1: install Forge[files.minecraftforge.net] (select minecraft version 1.7.2 from dropdown box if playing on mega month server)
Use the Installer-Win link, select install client when installing.

Step 2: Install Shaders base mod[www.minecraftforum.net]
Latest version says it's compatible with 1.7.10 and 1.7.2
Put the .jar file in your AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods folder.

Step 3: Install a shader pack[www.minecraftforum.net]
Whatever version you think you'd like (I use DoF though it can be distractnig)
There are also different shader packs altogether, check the shaders base mod page for more.
Put the .zip in AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\shaderpacks

Step 4: Do some bug fixing[pastebin.com] to fix rain being invisible and enable hidden features. Or just download this already fixed version[dl.dropboxusercontent.com] because you are my friends and this should not be made public.

Step 5: Install a shader supported texture pack[www.chromahills.com] (SEUS Special) This one is a bit too thematic but it works well with SEUS.
Put the .zip in your AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks folder

Step 6: Go to in game options and select your resource pack and shader pack from their respective menus and configure your shader options such as lowering shadow resolution or whatever.

Step 7 marvel at the beauty for 5 minutes then uninstall it all because you get 10fps on fucking minecraft.
