Today marks the first official loss of a staff member to G.F.G.
JKbates is no longer, nor will he ever be permitted to be, a part of this group again.
He has been removed from the group by me, after presenting a poor attitude towards me after a decision, which entailed him refusing to accept and or understand our age range policy for certain pieces of material on the server.
Let this be a message to every single one of you here.
This is a mature group, run by primarily adults over the age of 20. I don't care how "mature" you are. If you are under the age of 18, you are NOT permitted to view and or participate in ANY of the conversations, chats, or discussions that may include graphic content and or lewd images. This goes beyond a legal matter, it's also a matter of morality.
I as a responsible adult would never share pornography or any other sorts of images depicting sex, blood, or gore with an underage individual. Its wrong, period. With that being said, I have NO TOLERANCE for any other staff members who choose to break this rule any further. I've been very distracted lately I will admit, and I've let a few things slide that may have led to Jack thinking that what was going on was okay, but it wasn't.
Regarding anyone else who seemingly has some sort of issue with my attitude, like he claims, I emplore you to read the rest of this all the way through.
Running, coding, and maintaining this server is not an easy task. It is very mentally taxing and takes up a good majority of my days. Beyond that I am on VACATION right now, for those of you who don't know, all the way from the United States to Canada so that I can be with my boyfriend. During this time I have been trying to spend my days just being with him as my trip draws to a close.
My administrators are here for a reason. My staff team is here for a reason, so please, for the love of god, utilize them. To my staff team, if a player comes to you with an issue, your first response shouldn't be to run straight to me. You have the power to fix a lot of issues.. So.. Ask yourself if what your dealing with can be dealt with by your self, ensure its not something miniscule that you can fix on your own. If its something serious, by all means, please do contact me, but beyond that, please have respect for my time and efforts. I'm exhausted. Yesterday was Saturday, my one day away from the server, and many of you know that yesterday I also spent the majoirty of my time WITH my boyfriend's help, trying to fix the server after a suspected DDoS AND MULTIPLE crashes and performance issues. Running a server on a game as unoptimized as this isn't a cake walk people. So please, the next time you feel like Otto is just a giant fucking asshole, maybe have a bit of consideration for all he puts into this server so you all can have a place to play.
