His HL team is called Bright New Future. Perhaps this is what he hopes for. A bright new future.
Is it medicine? Curing the ailments of those around him? Nutrients that supplement another one's wellbeing? Perhaps it is a vitamin tablet, bolstering the metaphorical immune system of a peer. Something wholesome. Alturistic. Optimistic.
Or perhaps it is much darker. Perhaps it is a self-deprecating way to represent himself. It is really that he percieves himself as a pill full of poison? A narcotic? Does he see himself as a man who sickens anyone he touches? Anyone he comes into contact with? Maybe he hurt someone in the past. Maybe he has those experiences where every social interaction has led to lonliness. Feeling lonely despite being surrounded by people who interact. That is a form of isolation that truly pains the heart.
