These games need a Revive!

Does a good game have to die? Somepeople would say "yes" and keep going about their day, however we at We Play Dead Games happen to dissagree with that. A good game shouldn't stay dead. A good game should be accessable to many new people who probably havent heard of the game before.

Yes, its easy to just say that its over. Its easier to give up and call it a day, but I'm not here to make the easy choice. I'm here to make the choice that I think is right, and I think reviving these games would be right. At least in my opinion.

Hey there! Happy new year, guys; I hope your year is going great so far!

Lately, I've been wanting to play Bioshock 2's multiplayer, so if anyone's interested in that, let me know. I might be trying to organize that on Bioshock's subreddit or something.

And I'm always willing to hear it if you're willing to play some old game. I have a lot of things I want to do for this group, but running it solo is near impossible for me due to other issues I'm having IRL. Still, whatever we can make happen, I want to make it happen!

A little while ago, I posted a link to an SMNC discord that still hosts games. If you haven't joined yet, I highly encourage you all to do so.

There's a few rules for you to follow there, but its all worth it to be one of the few people able to play this game that shut down.

Same goes with Evolve. I posted instructions on how to play Evolve, and mentioned all the caveats associated with it. Long story short there, you need to have the game files to play and if you can't find game files for the DLC, you can't download the DLC at all. Its still pretty fun to play.

If you want the files I use, you'll have to ask me for them. The way I got my files may be considered controversial to some, so I don't want to just go on about it. Loose lips sink ships, you know?
