Hello everyone, it is that time, to start the process for the election of our next CiC. Here is the announcement from our current CiC:

"Dear all,

I hope you all had a great break and spent time with family and friends, personally I spent a lot less time gaming than I would have liked!

As we start the new year we have an exciting part of TAW history to take part in, the election of our next CIC!

This Sunday at 2100 GMT is the Election Meeting 1 where TFO will gather to place names in nomination for candidacy for CIC The meeting is open to everyone to join, so please feel free!

On Sunday I will return to you with the details of our confirmed candidates, but please read up on policy and ensure you're not discussing candidates or the election with anyone as it is a breach of our policy.

Election timelines are as follows:

8th Jan – CIC Election Meeting 1 – Nominations

15th Jan – Publish written responses – Record oral interviews

22nd Jan – Publish oral responses

29th Jan – CIC Election Meeting 2 – Live Interviews

29th Jan – Voting commences

31st Jan – Voting closes (48 hours after commencing)

5th Feb – CIC Election Meeting 3 - Announcement and installation of new CIC

What is Discord? : Discord is a voice and text chat app, that allows you to have conversations with members in the clan, it is also a great place for you to get in touch with some of the Operational side of TAW, ie. Do you want to stream on TAW TV or see when someone goes live? Yup, Do you want to chat with the Events Team about planning a virtual scrabble night? Sure thing!

Who can join? : Everyone! All of the current Divisions have a channel on the Discord, even those that use Slack, TS, The Forums etc.. there is a channel for you!

What is currently there? : At time of writing we have a few announcement channels (it's cross posts Forum news, like this, or any other TAW Wide announcements, there is a Social Media News which shares any Tweets/Facebook posts, there is a TAWTV announcement channel for when ever someone in the community goes live. We have some general chat threads for the lobby, multimedia (share pictures of your cat, or your warhammer etc..). We have gaming and Gaming interest channels, support channels for if you need help with anything TAW related along with each of our games and divisions having their own channels and threads available to them!
