First let me say that I have hardly any right to write this. I cannot say I ever knew him very well, but it does pain me to see that very little waves where created after his death that now three years after the fact I am just hearing about it. So hopefully, this reaches those who knew him or would like to share their condolences to a fellow gamer.

G. Lazendorfer was the 13th individual to ever enlist in my unit so I got to see the better side of him than what I saw of him during the UWFL. A very passionate player who was brimming with ideas and ways to make a realism gaming unit better. I knew it was only a matter of time before he would go back out and make his own unit from how hungry he was for the realism scene.

After he was discharged from the 3rd Marines, he went back to the DODS to co-lead the 6th Airborne until his death in 2013.

Lanz played with the 1st RB during his days in DOD Source. The 1st RB I believe played all three seasons and Lanz was quite a regular on the forums and kept them very...very active.
