That's it folks, the short One Make Series is already over. Ben crumbled under pressure, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he finished on the podium in every single race, which I think is a fantastic achievement and he is definitely a credit to the clean racing community we have now.

Sandmanchen rounded off a good run throughout the championship and matched his best position of the tournament, with a 2nd. He also gave Ben his only 3rd. Thanks for that ;). Passi earned all his points in the last 4 races, which meant he didn't finish last on points.

Sadly, I did have to make a couple of disqualifications for the same person. Once was for cutting more than once on the first track, and the second was for going the wrong way around the hairpin on the last track, despite me explicitly saying not to. But apart from that, and a few spills along the way, I think we did alright.

The final events of the One Make Series are tonight! Sorry for the late announcement, but I was off celebrating turning 24 (I feel so old), so I couldn't do the announcement last night. With 4 points between the Mercedes - uh, the top two drivers, who will take the victory? Will accidents happen and allow Sandmanchen to sneak in and steal the victories? You'll only find out by turning up!

This time, I'll try to add up the scores properly so I don't need to make multiple revisions. D:

I take the time to watch my recordings back multiple times to see where I went wrong and if there was anything I could improve. However, I'm also noticing a lot of poor driving by certain competitors in this series. I'm not going to name and shame, and this is not what this post is for.

Be they simple clumsy moves, or just being too aggressive, they are only working to harm other driver's enjoyment of the series. On more than one occasion I saw someone mentioning being spun or shoved off the track. I, myself, was a victim of this over aggressive driving style, as I spent much of the first lap of the first race being bumped by the car behind, even though it was clear that I could only go as fast as the car I was chasing.

If you are unable to drive close behind another driver, then please either keep your distance or alter your line. I don't like being shoved into another driver who was innocently minding their own business, and I'd rather finishing positions were not decided by crashes. The whole point in the one make part of this series is to balance up the field so it's driving skill that prevails.

Most notably, the first lap is where the bumping happens, simply because we are close together. I watched Ben's footage of the first race and he was pushed off the track on the first turn by someone who just couldn't understand that keeping the peddle to the floor while pushing another car will cause them to go off. I didn't catch the name, although I have a good idea of who it was. Please be more courteous next time.

I will not allow one or two drivers to ruin the fun for the other 12 on the track, so here is a friendly warning. Any further instances of unsportsmanlike behaviour will no longer be tolerated. There are dirty driving events planned by others if you'd prefer those, but I'm trying to cater to the clean drivers. Further poor driving will likely cause you to be refused entry to the next tournament, or a points penalty in this one. Please don't make me do that.

This is not only about winning, it's about the thrill of driving with others without the fear of being punted off, the excitement of a battle that runs for 6 laps and the satisfaction of pulling off a pass that the other driver just couldn't defend against. The drivers make this possible, let's not undo everything we have made.

The middle part of the first One Make Series is now over. Ben's 9 point lead has been reduced to 4 points, and Sandmanchen has stolen 3rd from eddie_-. Finsku scored his best position of the tounament so far with a 7th, and GERTY took a fastest lap.

Frisker is still moaning about winning all the time, so we made sure he didn't this time. We have lost Crankness though, after his early departure last week.

With 4 events to go, the victor is still nowhere near decided - who will be able to take home the glory? Who will be in a crumpled heap at the side of the track? Who will give us some controversy? You'll only find out by joining us for the last events next week! See you then!
