Hey, I can't really tell you that there is something obviously wrong with this shot, but I can't tell you that there is something really good about it either. Nothing about it really captures my attention.

Hello everybody

I've been the owner of this wonderful group for the past nine years and I've been shooting games for at least as long as that. It's something I've enjoyed doing as much as gaming itself, the whole idea of approaching game worlds with a photographic mindset always seemed to intrigue me a lot. I've shot a lot of games, some of my past works got featured on gaming sites such as IGN and PC Gamer, which is always neat.

My first attempts were done in Source engine games such as Left4Dead and HL series. Back then there weren't a lot of screenshot tools available and Source offered easy access to freecams with it's built-in console.

I don't have a whole lot of free time on my hands so I'm not as active as I've used to be, but you can check out more of my works on my Flickr profile, where I do upload somewhat more frequently:

We don't start new threads for every game there is in this group, especially not for sequels that came out ten years ago. But if you have to at least keep them in the same thread..

Honour thing? Don't take it so seriously, we're making screenshots here, not waging wars :p

Whatever gets the job done is okay with us. We do prefer to stick with the in-game tools (such as photomodes, amongst other things..) as opposed to using image editing tools. If you do happen to use stuff like PS or lightroom, it's considered polite to at least mention it when you post or submit the shot under artworks.

Guys, keep in mind that we have a theme for this contest. Shots that stray away from the theme will be deleted or simply ignored.

Please keep that in mind when posting

Theme: large or small groups of characters, sense of community or connection.

Rules:

1. Max two shots per user
2. No cut-scenes


Please keep in mind that our standard group rules are still in place, say no to HUDs and we would prefer if you stay away from image editing software beyond cropping or resizing.

ReShade / Sweet FX / ENBs are all allowed.
