Is merc contract still possible in bellum imoeril

I have conquered some germanic villages and Marcus Aurelius has given me them. What should I do to recruit roman units from them? How much time will it cost?

This is a very excellent mod, and it's easy for me to be patient about its improvement because 1) I have tons of other Warband mods to tide me over, and 2) the current content is good enough that I have confidence in the end experience. Thanks for all the hard work!

Although I am pretty sure it is (in theory) possible to realize the scenario when player's upgrade tree is different from the regular one, making it possible to become a centurion for example (seen it in some other mods). Still, that is just my ramble,cause the mod is awesome)

@John_F_Maxwell, you can get promoted as much as you can promote a regular unit. What the final promotion is depends on the faction you join, as they have slightly different end units (aka what legion you join). But Vet.Legionnaire is one of the end units, AFAIK.

@SpookeyGaben, if you have negative relations with a faction A, you can fix this by either:

1. Joining faction B that is not at war with A as a mercenary/vassal. When you join, your relations with factions will be set to 0 if A and B are not at war or -40 if at war (avoid that). Mind that this will not touch relations with the villages/towns/lords, though, do quests for them to fix the situation.
2. Talk to a lord of faction A and ask to make peace with his faction. Then pay some money, and relations will be reset to 0. As in the previous way, fix your village relations yourself.
3. If you cannot be bothered to make peace with these exact Romans, go to some other Romans. There are like a dozen of Roman factions around the world.

How do I raise my relation with a factions civ's? I clicked "Forceable recruit" and now the roman's hate me and I can't recruit any more units );

@HistoryBuff, there are still the standard Warband cheats (check if enabled in the launcher)
Press Ctrl+X when you are in the Inventory Screen and get 1k denars per press.

The formations don't work in 1.3, hence why I disabled them. They will be fixed in 1.4!

Question: How many troops do I need to form a shieldwall? No matter how much infantry I have on the field, I always get the message that I don't have enough troops :(

It makes your soldiers stop where they are now, not (compared to Hold position!) where you are or where you point the small flag if you hold F1.

So, the ModDB page says the mod is on hold and he hopes to get a new update BEFORE Bannerlord. I take that as before the horsemen of the apocalypse arrive, because I am pretty sure Bannerlord will take that long.

I also hate it because I have the faction "Roman empire" fighting "Roman hyspania". I don't like that... Overall still freat mod.

I wiss that the Cohorts and stuff were more specific all it says for the shields is Stumata so I'm left guessing to what Cohort uses it. I mostly want more cohortes... Urbanae Cohorte would be cool to see.

You can mod the food items for bigger size with tools like Morgh's M&B Editor ->find the food in item_kinds.txt and mod the values

i wish they had a food crate or something that supplied 200 food for those people (like me) who are playing in the end game with armies around 1500 units strong and having full inventory of food lasts 5 days XD

You could try visiting towns in Asia Minor and Balkans, maybe the shops will contain the armor/weapons. There are also "Mystic Merchants" in taverns who sell items with unknown prefixes, and I saw Greek things in there a couple of times. And you can also hire the Greek companion and loot his equipment.
If anything else fails, open the cheatmenu from the "Camp" menu and buy them from there.

Where can I get greek equipment? i couldn´t find it in Athenae neither in Byzantium, only Roman stuff

Mostly normal, the base stats and skills for most units and the player are lower than in Vanilla, while armor values are relatively unchanged.
