Just a few months ago, we reported that the Battlefield modding community was hard at work on a new mod for Battlefield 3 called “Venice Unleashed.” For those looking forward to trying it out, the Battlefield 3 mod Venice Unleashed release date has been announced for December 21, 2020!

If you’re on PC, and you own Battlefield 3 (which you can get for free via Amazon Prime), you’ll be able to download and install Venice Unleashed and play on its servers! Players will also be able to host their own series and customize it as they wish, too. According to the community, this is NOT a final release for Venice Unleashed, as they plan to keep updating it and introducing new features. Speaking of which players should be prepared for bugs, crashes and other issues as well.

How does it work?


First register at Bamgaming.net and join this event to Sign-UP!



Your whole team has to sign-up at Bamgaming.net and this Event and play the CUP with valid accounts.

-> Which means the accounts with in-game names your players are known with! (Main Account)

After you signed up enter your lineup as the following into the Bamgaming-Event

Example: "Teamname Lineup: Battlelog name [VU name]; Battlelog name [VU name]"

-> Your team is now Signed-Up! We will manually add your Team(s) to the bracket!


One team consists of 2-3 players (You can have one reserve player)..

You can also register more than one team to the CUP! (BAM1, BAM2, ...)

All members of your team(s) have to be registered at Bamgaming.net

and joined to the event at Bamgaming until 17th March 2016, 06:00pm!

The actual bracket will be mixed again!

The final bracket with additional informations about time&location will be aviable after the Sign-UP!

If the time of your match is not ok for you contact us at the Support-Center.

The match will get moved or both teams will get new enemies.

You get the serverpassword at a private message a few minutes infront of your match.

You are not allowed to share the password with anyone else than your team!

If you have a reserve player in your team, he is not allowed to spectate!

All matches have to take place at BAMGAMING Venice Unleashed servers!

There is already one BAMGAMING server running! You can use it for training!

For the CUP we´ll have 5-10 Servers (depending on the amount of participants).

One admin will spectate at each server to start, supervise and record the match.

You can write a protest at our Support-Center if you encounter any problem!

If a team is not showing up at a match without writing a protest it will get disqualified!

Serverconfiguration:


- Server is set to the ESL 5v5 preset

- Ticket count is set to 50% (which equals 125 tickets on Bazaar CQ-Small)

- VU-Settings: Blue-tint, flash light, and suppression disabled

Weapon-/Playerconfigs and Maps will stay untouched!


Match-rules​


- One match means one round on each side RU and US (total of two rounds per match)

- The team with the highest amount of tickets summarized from both rounds wins the match

- First capture the homeflag (The next flag to your base)

- Click here to get familiar with the zones of B-Flag

- If you have reached the startzone and are ready say “rdy” in the serverchat

- Wait for the countdown of the admin, you are allowed to start on the “go”

- Pushing/starting before the countdown ends or starting closer will result in disqualification

- Kitswapping to the opponents kit inside the redzones forbidden

- Waiting behind the spawns on the B-Flag is allowed

- Roof (glitch on B) is forbidden

- Max. allowed ping 160!

- Lagging players (includes players with low-ping) will be disqualified

- Cheating which also includes hacks, all kinds of macros, native high-ping or lag,

advantaging with high-ping or lag on purpose, bugusing and everything similar is forbidden

- Accountsharing is highly forbidden and will result in disqualification


Weapon-rules​



- No Supporter class

- No RPG/SMAW

- No tugs, spawnbake

- No laser, taclight

- No shotgun

- No M26 (all versions)

- No M320 (smoke is allowed)

- No Close-Quarters DLC guns



Disconnect / Technical Problems


If you have technical problems by joining our Servers contact us at the Support-Center.

Every team each can re-run ONE (1!) round if someone is disconnecting on a ticket difference below 50 tickets. The application has to be sent to the responsible admin (ingame) immediatly after the disconnect of the player. Otherwise the round won’t be aborted and will count.

Exception: Both teams can agree before the start of the match to neutralise the B-flag or repeate the round in case of a disconnect.



Violating against any kind of these rules results in disqualification!

Replacement of the prizes is not possible.

Recourse to the courts is not permitted.

Just thought I would make an announcement about the group hitting the milestone of 300 members! We haven't even been around on Steam for a full month! It is great seeing this community grow at a fast rate. Please, don't forget to be sure to invite all your Steam friends to the group, it helps get the mod more eyes on it to know that it even exists, and potentially grows the player base.

Mod tools are still coming, I asked kiwidog about it and he said they are coming Soon™. With the release of Rime I am sure many amazing mods are going to get made to really flesh out this almost 5 year old game.

We have grown exponentially in a short time, but there is still a very long road ahead of us.
